The construction of a new, one-story ±59,730 square foot 60-bed rehabilitation and medical service facility with associated site improvements including parking and landscaping.
The ±6.1-acre Project site is located within the Laguna Ridge Specific Plan (LRSP) area and is zoned Business Professional (BP). The site is located on the eastern side of Lotz Parkway and approximately 570 feet north of Whitelock Parkway.
The proposed post-acute rehabilitation and medical services facility will maintain a State license through the California Department of Public Health (CDPH). The facility would be considered a Type-II facility per the California Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD) which would oversee building permitting.
Advanced Health Care of Elk Grove facility is a rehabilitation and medical services facility offering skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and boarding services for patients that require short-term or “post-acute” medical care for recovery from illness or management of a chronic illness or disability. The facility includes a large physical rehabilitation space with related equipment that will serve all age groups, as well as two (2) general exam rooms for outpatient functions. The patients are transported to the facility without lights and sirens and are usually discharged to a family member. A typical stay at the facility will be less than twenty-one (21) days.
