Allen W Warren is founder and CEO of New Faze Development, Inc., a real estate development company founded in 1990. Since its inception New Faze Development has built a reputation as one of the leading smart growth in-fill developers in the state of California. The company’s focus is building innovative single family housing communities in economically challenged neighborhoods. Each project objective is to enhance neighborhoods by applying a triple bottom line approach of economic, environmental, and socialequity to communities.
New Faze has developed and invested in over 3000 residential units, office buildings and mixed-use space. New Faze was also honored to help build a hospital in the country of Honduras. For most of the company’s existence New Faze has focused primarily on developing housing. In 2018 the company added a new line of projects by investing in skilled nursing and assisted-living facilities. To date the company has four major projects, two skilled nursing and two assisted living projects with market valuation in excess of 200 million.
In addition to over 30 years in the private sector, Allen Warren, has dedicated many years to public service. In 2012 Allen was elected to the Sacramento California city Council and in 2015 Warren was voted as vice mayor. During the eight years of service on city Council, Allen oversaw the development of the Golden One Arena, home to the Sacramento Kings as chairperson. The project was the largest public/private project in the city’s history and has resulted in billions of dollars of economic impact. Allen also chaired the city’s Budget and Audit committee’s multibillion-dollar budget.
Civic and Community issues has always been important to Allen. Allen has donated his time and substantial resources to helping improve his home town of Sacramento. He has served on multiple national and local boards including serving as a chairperson of United Way’s successful multi million capital campaign and co-chair for the California State University East Bay (CSUEB) 50-million-dollar campaign.
Over the years Allen’s journey has had many challenging and exciting chapters. Prior to his career as a real estate developer and an elected official, Allen was an aspiring professional athlete and signed a professional baseball contract with the New York Yankees after breaking the home run and RBI record at CSUEB. He was recognized with multiple athletic awards including first team all-conference awards. After injuries forced his dreams to change, Warren became a stockbroker for DeanWitten Reynolds. In 2006 Allen’s hometown of Sacramento identified him as one of the 50 most influential Sacramentans.
Allen is from a family of seven children, six girls and himself. He is married to Dr. Gina Warren. Together Allen and Gina, have three children Braxton, Synclaire and Roman and reside in the Sacramento California region.
Nick Pecha joined the New Faze team in February 2008 as the CFO/controller and is responsible for all functions of accounting, finance and financial reporting including job progress reporting and maintaining project budgets. Mr. Pecha brings 15 years of experience directly related to accounting and finance specialized in land development and the new home construction industry in both California and Nevada.
Over the years Nick has managed and accounted for over 1 billion dollars in land development and site construction contracts with various homebuilders locally and nationally. Nick has also accounted for the construction of over 80 new subdivisions and master plan communities totaling over ten thousand new homes. Prior to his career in new home construction, Nick was responsible for accounting in other construction related industries including commercial and multi-family construction for public and private sectors.
Nick received a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Business/Accounting from Eastern Washington University and graduated with honors. Nick also holds various certifications in Information Technologies and has an excellent understanding of GAAP.
Charanjeet (Charlie) Kaur Tiwana joined New Faze Development in 2014 as strategic advisor in project development. It was clear that Charlie’s inspiring character to confidently connect with others while quickly navigating through the dynamics of real estate development, strategy, and acquisition were easily recognized as leadership skills which bore quick recognition at New Faze Development. Today she leads the company as the Vice President of Strategic Investments.
Charlie advances complex multi-use, commercial, and residential development projects. She has successfully helped to secure a number of equity and debt capital raises on key projects and is responsible for communicating the companies’ objectives and strategies to capital sources through investment strategy execution. Charlie coordinates and oversees the company’s community outreach efforts and volunteers her time by giving back to the community through numerous non-profit efforts. Her leadership builds confidence in those she works with and reinforces the heart and mission of New Faze Development’s vision.
She currently works directly with the CEO to develop and implement companywide strategic investment initiatives. She is responsible for leading acquisitions, land entitlements, project development, and sales and financing. Charlie oversees development projects from the initial conceptual design through construction completion.
Prior to joining New Faze Development, Charlie spent 2 years in New York City gaining executive level managerial experience where she successfully mobilized and managed a team of over 40 employees in the service and sales industry. Her journey brought her back to her Californian roots to share her passion and vision for relationship building at New Faze Development.
To those close to Charlie she is known as a visionary to the soul. She loves engaging with others whether social or business and this positive energy paves the way to create group synergy in pursuing collective goals. Growing up in a rural area developed an openness to exploring, discovery, and is still the center of who she is today. Charlie draws from her Grandfather’s love of laughter which he shared so generously with everyone around him. She learned vigilance and curiosity from growing up in a farming community where hard work, self reliance and caring for your neighbors is a natural part of life. In her free time she turns to her passion of hiking, cycling, and yoga which emanates from her love and gratitude for nature.
A native Californian, Charlie received her BA in Political Science and Minor in History from the University of California Merced and attended the University of California Berkeley.
