Greenfair Village
The Greenfair Village Development Project will redevelop Greenfair in Sacramento. The 30-acre tract is
located at Broadway and Fairgrounds Drive near the Tahoe Park, Elmhurst, and Oak Park neighborhoods.
Greenfair Village has the opportunity to be recognized at the state and national level as a model urban village-
a thriving community in the heart of the city.
Greenfair Village goals include:
• Building high-quality new housing
• Building high-quality new housing
• Refurbishing the exteriors of some existing housing
• Preserving open spaces
• Creating community parks, walking paths, and bicycle trails
• Encouraging healthy lifestyles and a strong community
• Allowing residents to walk to the UC Davis Medical Center, the Shriner's Hospital
for Children, and public transit
